The Story of the Oyster & the Pearl
"A tiny grain of sand caught in an oyster's shell.
Miraculously became the pearl we love so well.
He didn't understand why the sand was causing so much pain, so the oyster made a covering to smooth the tiny grain.
In the face of hardship a miracle occurred; a pearl was the result of the suffering endured."
The Pearl:
The Pearl symbol is purity, harmony, and humility. Revelations 21:21 " And the twelve pearls: each one of the gates was a single pearl".
And yet, another symbol for which the pearl is used is "Heaven"; as in the following verse:
Matthew 13:45 "The kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls"
